Strength | Kindness | Beauty | Fashion
My sister and I talked about opening up a clothing business for years. Like most things in life that require change, you talk and talk and talk and never take the leap. One day, we looked at each other and said “Lets do this.” And we did. It was a weeeeeee bit scary. We had no idea what we were getting ourselves into but we knew if we worked hard and trusted our bff, google, we could do anything. We knew right off the bat what we didn’t want to be...
We didn’t want to be a brand for women that all looked the same. Let’s face it, we all struggle with body image issues from time to time but we don’t ever want our company to be a part of the struggle that so many other aspects of life feed into. We didn’t want to be a company that was only profit driven. We want to give back to the people, organizations and communities that have given so much to us and continue to give so much to others. We didn’t want to be a faceless organization. We want to be a company that knows the women we interact with. That listens to the opinions and feedback of the women we interact with and changes accordingly.
We love Leah & Rosemary and we have a feeling you’re going to love it too!
It is a homage to our Grandmother, who we called MiMi, but her real name was Leah. She was an Italian, Cajun, Southern, Fierce woman and we know she’s smiling down and cheering us on. Rosemary is a play on our family name and also one of our favorite herbs to cook with!
